З 16 до 18 вересня 2024 року співробітники кафедри міжнародної економіки к.е.н., доцентка Діана Михайлина та к.е.н., асистентка Ірина Роговська-Іщук  (наживо), а також завідувач кафедри к.е.н., доцент Олександр Саєнко та к.е.н., асистентка Юлія Грицку-Андрієш (онлайн) взяли участь в конференції UKRAINETT+ «Управління суспільними кризами: виклики та стратегії подолання» та були учасниками круглого столу  «Вирішення проблем міграції на місцевому рівні: роздуми про виклики та можливості й перспективи різних зацікавлених сторін» в Університеті Норд (м. Будо, Норвегія). 

Представники кафедри міжнародної економіки в секційних засіданнях презентували дві доповіді “Crisis Management in International Business in Conditions of Current Global Challenges” та “Enhancing Local Governance: A Strategic Approach to Eurointegration in Ukrainian Communities”. 

Спікерами та учасниками конференції були представники провідних університетів Норвегії, Польщі та України. Обговорювались важливі питання управління кризами та формування стратегії їх подолання. Особлива увага була зосереджена на нових викликах для України та на питаннях  управління кризами в умовах війни.

Круглий стіл було присвячено проблемам адаптації внутрішньо переміщених осіб (досвідом ділились представники університетів України). А також обговорювались важливі питання міграції українців до Польщі та Норвегії. Представники органів влади цих країн розповіли про виклики та можливості для мігрантів з України.

Такий формат організованих заходів дозволив почути думки різних сторін, чітко окреслити проблеми та усвідомити ймовірні виклики.

Окрім того, відбулося ряд робочих зустрічей щодо реалізації короткострокової мікро кредитної навчальної програми перепідготовки та соціальної адаптації внутрішньо переміщених осіб в університетах України, а також планування наступних заходів проєкту 101129315-TURBO-ERASMUS-ED-2023-CBHE «Реакція університетів на великі перешкоди: створення стійкої вищої освіти для реагування та управління суспільними кризами».

Нагадаємо, що проєкт має на меті підвищення стійкості, готовності та оперативності закладів вищої освіти в Україні через розбудову їхнього потенціалу, вдосконалення компетенцій та обмін досвідом, реалізується у 2024-2026 роках в партнерстві із Університетом Норд (Норвегія), Університетом Козмінського (Польща), Міжнародним фондом соціальної адоптації та 7 закладами вищої освіти України.

From 16 to 18 September 2024, staff members of the Department of International Economics — PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Diana Mykhailyna and PhD in Economics, Assistant Iryna Rohovska-Ishchuk (on site), as well as Head of the Department, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Oleksandr Saienko and PhD in Economics, Assistant Yuliia Hrytsku-Andriiesh (online) — took part in the UKRAINETT+ Conference “Managing Societal Crises: Challenges and Strategies for Overcoming Them.” They also participated in the round table “Addressing Migration Challenges at the Local Level: Reflections on Challenges, Opportunities, and Prospects of Different Stakeholders,” held at Nord University (Bodø, Norway).

Representatives of the Department of International Economics delivered two presentations during the thematic sessions: “Crisis Management in International Business in Conditions of Current Global Challenges” and “Enhancing Local Governance: A Strategic Approach to Eurointegration in Ukrainian Communities.”

Speakers and participants of the conference included representatives of leading universities from Norway, Poland, and Ukraine. Key issues related to crisis management and the development of strategies to address crises were discussed, with particular attention given to the new challenges facing Ukraine and to crisis management in the context of war.

The round table focused on issues of adaptation of internally displaced persons, with Ukrainian universities sharing their experiences. Important aspects of Ukrainian migration to Poland and Norway were also discussed. Representatives of public authorities from these countries outlined the challenges and opportunities faced by migrants from Ukraine.

This format of the events made it possible to hear the perspectives of various stakeholders, clearly identify key issues, and better understand potential challenges.

In addition, a series of working meetings was held to discuss the implementation of a short-term micro-credential training programme for the retraining and social adaptation of internally displaced persons at Ukrainian universities, as well as to plan upcoming activities of the project No. 101129315-TURBO-ERASMUS-ED-2023-CBHE “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building Resilient Higher Education to Respond and Manage Societal Crises.” 

The project aims to enhance the resilience, preparedness, and responsiveness of higher education institutions in Ukraine through capacity building, competence development, and the exchange of experience. It is implemented in 2024–2026 in partnership with Nord University (Norway), Kozminski University (Poland), the International Foundation for Social Adaptation, and seven higher education institutions in Ukraine. The project is funded by the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under Grant Agreement No. 101129315.
